Text that is going to be sent to Flash over the web using Load Variables needs to be URL Encoded. Some languages and programs have this URL Encoding built in. But if you prepare text to be send to Flash from a text file you must manually encode it. In the table below characters that have a hyphen for URL Encoding in the table do not need to be encoded but others need their characters replaced with the URL Encoding. For Instance,Flash rocks!should to be changed to the following:Flash%20rocks%21Even with a program that does URL Encoding, some characters may need to be prepared by preceding the character with a back slash (the escape character for URL Encoding). Using a single backslash will always escape any following character and will not be displayed itself. In JavaScript a double quote would normally indicate the end of a string.
